The ST2 programme consists of 3 days at a general practice, see our GP practices here. The remaining 2 days is clinical attachment within a service relevant to the education and training needs of GPs working in areas of deprivation.
Turning Point provide drug and alcohol services across the England and Wales. They provide residential detox and rehabilitation, psychological support and intervention, and educational training, along with many more innovative services.

Spectrum at Styal Prison
Spectrum CIC provides healthcare for HMP and YOI Styal. They are responsible for primary care, mental health (working with Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust), drug treatment services (working with Lifeline), dental and optical services. They are a not-for-profit, social enterprise, committed to giving everyone the right care, at the right time, by the right professional.
Pennine Psychological Medicine provides liaison mental health services (psychiatric review, therapy and case management) to various populations across Greater Manchester. This includes as part of the integrated pain pathway, or the secondary care psychological medicine department who see individuals with complex health needs causing significant distress.
