HOW TO APPLY

The General Practice National Recruitment Office (GPNRO) co-ordinates the process for recruitment to General Practice (GP) Specialty Training Programmes. Recruitment to GP Specialty Training will take place three times a year, twice for August commencement and once for February commencement. Round 1 and Round 1 Re-advert cover August commencement; Round 2 covers February commencement.

Applicants will make a single application for all available GP ST1 training posts in participating regions. The assessment and selection process involves the Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA) which is a computer-based assessment and a face-to-face assessment at a Selection Centre.

There have been some significant changes to the recruitment process in recent years so We recommend you read the guidance, provided by the GP National Recruitment office at Health Education England. You can find the guidance HERE.
